- Connect the PC and TesiraFORTÉ to the network. Connect a Cat5E cable between your PC and the TesiraFORTÉ device.
- Power up TesiraFORTÉ devices.
- Assign an IP address to the PC.
- Configure the software to use the correct Network Interface.
- Connect to the network with Tesira software.
Do I need an AVB switch?
The devices must be directly connected from AVB port to AVB port. Connecting three or more Tesira AVB devices together requires an AVB switch. Connecting any Tesira server-class device to the allowed number of Ethernet devices (EX-LOGIC, TEC-1, PC) with no other AVB devices does not require an AVB switch.
What is the maximum AVB channel count of a TesiraFORTé AVB device?
Each TesiraFORTÉ AVB device can transmit up to 128 channels and receive up to 128 channels of audio. Audio channels must be grouped into up to 63 AVB streams, and each stream can be comprised of up to 60 channels.
